What if Mr. Darcy's mother - Lady Anne Darcy - felt guilty about the marriage arrangement with Catherine de Bough and her daughter. Hallow'en when ghosts are at there most powerful and Lady Anne decides to interfere. She realises that Darcy and Elizabeth are ideally suited and does her best to bring them together after they have met at Netherfield.
