It's 1897, just weeks prior to the celebration of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. But Charles Smith is running for his life. To no avail. It is now Inspector Sam Blackstone's job to determine who he was, and why was an aristocrat working as a reporter.
A very enjoyable story, with good rounded characters so I am looking forward to the next in the series
