Death of a Debutante (Riley Rochester Investigates Book 1)Death of a Debutante by Wendy Soliman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

London Summer 1870 and Lord Riley Rochester, younger son of a marquess, is one of the few divisional inspectors in the police. When he is called to Lord Ashton's residence one evening as the body of one of their guests has been found, the hope of his boss Chief Inspector Danforth is that the blame can be attributed to a burglar. Rochester is not so sure.
A very enjoyable mystery, some good well-written characters which I hope to read about in the next book
